Founder & Pathologist

Dr. Anthony N. Hui, MD, is a distinguished pathologist and the founder of Northwest Arkansas Pathology Associates (NWA Pathology). In 1988, Dr. Hui established NWA Pathology in Fayetteville with a vision of providing the Northwest Arkansas community with high-quality, timely, and dependable diagnostic pathology services. What began as a small practice has grown into a leading independent pathology group serving hospitals, physicians, and patients throughout the region.

Dr. Hui earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 1978 and completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hui has been committed not only to excellence in diagnostic medicine but also to the advancement of healthcare throughout Arkansas. He served as medical director emeritus of the laboratory at Washington Regional Medical Center and has contributed his expertise through leadership and service in the medical community, including work with the Arkansas Board of Health.

In recognition of his significant contributions to pathology and medicine, Dr. Hui received the College of American Pathologists Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.

Dr. Hui's enduring philosophy has helped shape NWA Pathology's commitment to diagnostic accuracy, clinical collaboration, and patient-centered care. His leadership established a foundation upon which the practice continues to grow while maintaining its original mission: providing physicians with precise, timely, and clinically meaningful diagnostic information that helps guide patient care.

Today, NWA Pathology continues the legacy Dr. Hui began in 1988, combining experienced pathologists, subspecialty expertise, advanced laboratory services, and a commitment to the communities of Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region.
