About Us
Receive Advanced Pathology Expertise,
Without Sacrificing Local Care
NWA Pathology is an independent pathology group owned and led by pathologists, dedicated to providing physicians and patients with advanced diagnostic pathology, broad subspecialty expertise, and access to leading-edge technology—while keeping pathology resources as close to the communities we serve as possible.
NWA Pathology utilizes Techcyte Fusion, an advanced digital pathology platform that supports digital case review, consultation, collaboration, and efficient sharing of pathology information. Through Techcyte Fusion, our pathologists also have access to cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies as these tools continue to evolve in diagnostic medicine.
We believe technology should enhance the practice of pathology—not replace the pathologist or the physician-to-physician relationship. Digital pathology and AI are powerful tools, but they are most valuable when combined with experienced pathologists who understand the clinical context of each patient.
NWA Pathology has a team of fellowship-trained and board-certified pathologists with expertise across numerous subspecialty areas, including:

Laboratory Administration, Quality, and Accreditation
For particularly complex or challenging cases, NWA Pathology works with leading academic medical centers and cancer centers to obtain additional consultation when appropriate. Our collaborative relationships include institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and UAMS, among others.
Our model is straightforward: keep the primary pathology relationship local while reaching nationally and internationally recognized experts when a case requires additional expertise. Patients and physicians should not have to choose between local accessibility and world-class consultation. NWA Pathology is committed to providing both.
We are Independently owned
and Physician-Led
That independence matters.
It allows our physicians to focus on what matters most: providing high-quality diagnostic pathology, maintaining direct relationships with the physicians we serve, and making decisions based on the needs of patients and healthcare providers.
Sophisticated pathology does not require sacrificing local relationships. Our pathologists remain accessible to the physicians who depend on their expertise. Direct communication, collaboration, and timely consultation are fundamental parts of our practice.
Supporting Patients Across
Multiple Health Systems
We provide pathology services across numerous health systems and healthcare facilities throughout the region, including communities extending from Northwest Arkansas eastward to Harrison and Mountain Home, as well as Cherokee Nation in eastern Oklahoma.
This broad presence provides an important advantage for patients who receive care at different hospitals, health systems, or physician practices.
When patients move between healthcare systems, having a pathology group that serves multiple facilities can help maintain continuity and facilitate timely access to prior pathology diagnoses, specimens, ancillary testing, and clinical information.
OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE THE PATIENT'S PATHOLOGY HISTORY AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES - NO MATTER WHERE THEY RECEIVE CARE.
Keeping Pathology Resources Close
to the Physicians Who Use Them
Consultation with nationally recognized experts.
Service across multiple healthcare systems.
And, most importantly, local pathologists who remain accessible to the physicians they serve.
